Jack C. Birch is an attorney with 27 years of experience practicing primarily in the areas of business and corporate law, real estate, zoning and riparian rights as well as civil litigation. He also represents clients before the Department of Natural Resources and Alcoholic Beverage Commission. His experience in representing municipalities, school corporations and county officials provides him with a wealth of experience to help clients navigate the sometimes confusing processes of governmental and regulatory compliance. Mr. Birch is also a registered civil and family mediator.
Jack graduated from Indiana University at Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1988. He was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Indiana University School of Law at Bloomington in 1991.
Prior to forming Birch Kaufman LLC, Mr. Birch practiced law as a partner with Birch Law Firm LLC, Snyder, Birch & Morgan LLP as well as Beckman Lawson, LLP.
Jack lives on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse with his wife Tana and their children, Jackson, an Indiana University graduate, Madeline, an Indiana University Medical School student and Olivia, a junior at Indiana University. Jack enjoys spending time on the lake, Indiana University athletics and brewing beer at his brewery located in Syracuse.
Jack is a member of Wawasee Kiwanis, Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, Indiana State Bar Association and Kosciusko and Noble County Bar Associations. He is a past President of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and past director of Wawasee Youth Baseball League. Jack has also served on the boards of the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kosciusko Community Foundation and the Wawasee Building Trades.
